Really cool game! Got to 109 in my first ±30 minutes, really enjoying it.

Great game! Any chance of a mac download?

(+1)

Great work! What service did you use for leaderboards?

It’s a custom-made api.

(+2)

Great idea!

A f-ck1ng Tetris game :/ I thought it was a different kind of game. You should fix the tags and description

(+2)

Good work! I love this game!

This is pretty Cool!

Absolutely amazing to play, sounds and visuals are top notch.

Please, make a downloadable version for PC.

You can download web games on itch.io using the itch app

How?

(1 edit)

You can download the Itch app here: https://itch.io/app (For desktop tho: Windows, Mac, Linux)

Then you can log in to your account, come back to this page, and choose “Install”

Love how easy this was to just click, usually these kind of "twist" games don't feel so natural

(+4)

This is a brilliant little game. It took me a while to figure out what was even going on, and a little bit longer to figure out with a different tiles would land. As soon as I got my first power up? Ability? Bonfire boon?

Anyway, as soon as I got that and a side panel popped open, I know this game was a keeper.

Intuitive, great gamefeel, and looks/sounds nice too. Well done!

very cool

This is really very clever.  Nice job!

Awesome game, incredible result for a 7DRL.

+1 to having downloadable builds (Mac inclusive pls xD). Would be great to play offline.

Cheers

Now I only need to find out what a broughlike is, how to play this game and what all those campfire things do. I see the resemblance to Tetris but while that could get away without explanation this game can’t.

(+1)

This is a new term for me too.

(+1)

Just try them out and observe what happens.

(+1)

Very interesting new take.

An explanation of the campfire rewards would be great.

The one with 3 diagonal squares is particularly mysterious.

Deleted 2 years ago

it doesn't seem to do anything for me. is there some way you need to activate it?

a basic explanation of rules and what upgrades do/how they work would be nice

(+4)

"Low complexity, High depth" is a difficult formula to get right but this game nails it!

Thank you!

(+1)

Trying to play on mobile but I only see an orange screen (not a zoom issue).

(+1)

Sorry to hear that! Would you be able to let me know which type of phone (Android, iPhone, other) and which browser?

I play on computer and it's the same

(+1)

Android, Chrome. Tbh, Chrome has been a pain with some games, even on PC. I'll try later on PC with a different browser, I'm sure it will work then.

Works on PC with Mozilla but not with Chrome :P

(+1)

Nice game ! had a lot of fun

nice

will be this downloadable?? its amazing

I don't like roguelikes, but dang, this is a VERY nice idea well-executed.

(+2)

Well executed game! Although I’m not very good at it, I still found it to be quite fun and addicting. It’s very easy to get a game over if you move too quickly, so every move counts! I like the gradual build up of adding more colors as well, as not to overwhelm the player. The upgrades/power ups also bring a lot to the table and help add to the strategy of the game. Overall, it was a fun time! Great work!

(+1)

Very fun to watch you play and learn :) thanks for such a nice video!

(+2)

Discovered a bug! If you pick a reward from a campfire, and immediately after move into the portal to the next room while the power up menu on the left is in the process of appearing, you will get stuck on top of the portal, unable to move as the next level does not load.

Thank you for reporting, and sorry your run had to end that way... we're aware of the issue, but unfortunately can't change the file until after the jam.

(+3)

Understandable! I very frequently get past the first campfire, so it's no big loss :v

Excellent game, and I would absolutely idly play it on my phone while waiting for the bus.

And while on the bus. And on the walk back towards my destination after missing my stop.

(+1)

Here is another small bug: if you choose and use a skill too quickly at the campfire (e.g. hit the campfire and tap 1 quickly several times), you get a game over.

Wow, thanks for reporting that, I had not heard about that one before and you're definitely right! Sorry about that!

(+1)

No problem! I've played this game in the past few days and it's great fun.

Here is another similar issue I noticed: if I choose one of the skills at the campfire by clicking too early/fast, the game freezes.

(+3)

I enjoyed this game so much! 🙂 Amazing! ❤️

(1 edit) (+3)

this game is fantastic

a perfect little idea executed extremely well

Thank you so much Pancelor, that means a lot!

(+4)

:O this is a really cool mechanic! it looks really clean, too. good work!

(+2)

114, not bad I guess... I feel like I could've survived much longer if I hadn't made so many mistakes... Once again, great game.

Thank you, and impressive work!

(+3)

Great game, so far only got 42, but I'll keep trying. I love games that let players experiment to figure out what the rules are, and how mechanics work.

Only feedback I have is that I'd make the player's tile more graphically distinct from the other tiles.

One of my favorite roguelikes of the jam so far! The premise is easy to understand in a few moments, but forces you to think hard about your strategy to not clog up the lower board. Very clever game, and super well executed in visuals and feel. Good job :)

So lovely to hear all that, thank you!!

(+2)

Awesome game. ;)

Thank you so much!
